About Me

My name is Mary, I am married with 5 children. I am a farmer doing small scale farming in my farm. My eldest child is a boy who is 13 years old. He aspires to be a lawyer and other ones have not figured out what they want to be in the future.

My husband is also a farmer and we work together.

I am an active church members where I am involved in music evangelism. I spend my Sundays on such mission across my region.

My Business

I am a farmer who grows food crops for my family and a little more to sell in the local market. I also keep cattle and I have one dairy cow and two calves.

I sell milk to my neighbors and this gives me money that I need for running my family budget.

My business has grown exponentially of late, largely due to Zidisha credit and I am hoping to keep growing.

Loan Proposal

I will use the money to prepare my small piece of land for planting when the rainy season starts in less than two months from now. I will need to plow the land and I heed a laborer to do this. I also need to buy some seeds that I will plant when the season comes.

Labor costs will be USD 25 while I need USD 35 for seeds, organic manure and fertilizer. I am expecting to get a bumper harvest if everything goes according to plan and here I am asking for your support to make this happen.
