Am the first born male from a family of four siblings,am single and i came from a nuclear family.we are Christians.
we live in the upcountry in the coast of kenya a village called bondora.
i just finished my university education know am waiting for my graduation.
i am an entrepreneur dealing with rearing of chickens.
i started this business with the aim of been my own boss and be able to support my family and self to.
i studied for my o-levels in nairobi after which i was admitted to pwani university in kilifi.
from my earnings i purchase tools for expansion and pay bills which i receive from the work.also am able to solve my financial problems.
among my hobbies i love traveling and reading motivational books.
i love socializing with my friends when am free to be able to expand my knowledge about life.
one thing l came to know about life is that with patience and perseverance one is able to be successful.
My business is a small scale business,am a poultry farmer who keeps broilers.i started this business because i realized there is a gap(niche) from the society.
My potential customers are from the factory near by called (athi river mining).
my customers prefer my products because i maintain cleanliness and my chickens are kept in a clean place and the services i offer them are in a favorable price.
i got high demand since there are small hotels which are coming up and they need chicken for their customers and also with the huge population from the company,i have to expand the business so as to satisfy the growing market.
the business is very profitable in that the sale of one chicken gives you a double return compared with how you bought that chicken while it was a chick.
the risk my business faces are from diseases which the chickens get and the ever hiking food cost from the market.
my monthly cost adds up to 30,000 from buying food and treating the chicks,2000 for paying my workers,2000 monthly water and electricity bills.
sales revenue adds up to 44000 hence a profit of 10,000.
With the funds I would like to add more chicks in my farm, buy food products to enable me feed the chicks and also expand the structure
