About Me

My name is John Onyebuchi Ekebuike. i was born on 20th August, 1951 at Umuahia Abia State, Nigeria.
i am married with five children and live at No. 52 Nnokwa Street, World Bank Housing Estate, Umuahia Abia State Nigeria.
Educationally, I was able to obtain my B. s. c Environmental Health form University of ife Nigeria, in 1982 and got promoted to Director, Primary Health Care before Retiring From Abia State Local Government Service in 2011
Since my Retirement, I had been involved in small scale poultry business because my gratuity of more than six million naria has not been paid.

My Business

My poultry business involves broilers rearing, which has a short maturity period of about eight weeks.
A good site is selected and the poultry building erected according to approved specifications.
the first stage of rearing involves brooding the chicks from first day of age to about three weeks where, where adequate temperature are provided to prevent unavoidable deaths from cold.
After brooding, the chicks are transferred to other spacious apartment where they grow to standard before scale.
Throughout the rearing stages appropriate feed is given to enhance growth and required vaccination and drugs are administered to prevent or treat disease.

Project Proposal

I use the fund to buy poultry equipment, breeding equipment and other poultry equipment and feeds. Birds of different variety.
