About Me

I am a Jesner Biyaki from Nairobi Kenya. I am a single mum of 4 kids. I do business to help me take care of my kids. I do care for environment till I started a business of collecting plastics and sell them to Vints recycling company. They buy at ksh 65/kg. I manage to collect 230kgs a week which I intend to increase per week. This requires more labour hence I look for funds to increase the collection.

My Business

I do collect plastics that are thrown and weigh them then sell to a recycling company. I collect approximately 230kgs/week and sell at ksh 65/kg which gives me around ksh 15000. I intend to increase my collection targeting 500kgs to 1000kgs. This will mean I increase labour by employing new workers and later if all goes well I buy a small track for the job. I believe the funds I will be able to increase my profits and this will help me give a decent life to my kids and expand my business

Project Proposal

I will add more labour to collect more plastics. Currently I collect about 230kgs which I sale at ksh 65 per a kg. I expect to add 150kgs when I add more labour. This will also increase my area where I get the waste. I also intend to do other materials that can be recycled like glass.
