I was borne in a family of 10 children, attended nyagom primary school between the years 1999_2006,I passed so well and secured a chance in naro moru secondary school in which I again spent four years and graduated with a grade of B_ in 2010,I again attended rongo university with a diploma in agricultural education for a period of 2years graduating in 2013 with a credit
I overcame several difficulties especially when my father passed on in 2009 just a year to my completion of form four education, life was so hard with my family members that's me,my siblings and my mother, with increased effort we decided to go back deeply to farming together with my mother since only this could help solve the issues of finance in our house,my mother used to grow onion, tomatoes and kales in our farm, during holidays I could join her and help her achieve our dreams of educating each of our family members
The business of food retail we started after realizing the demand that the population in town was having in terms of food groceries, from the excess food we were growing we used to harvest excess and so we could sell part of it to the living community around, the first attempt was very motivating and so immediately after completing secondary education we started the business in full combat straight away
The land I live in is rich in fertilizers especially the organic manure, this could possibly be from decompose entrees and vegetation around, the culture I live around is hardworking and very motivational in agriculture
My children would want to be agriculturalist and retailers
My hobby is farming
I provide onions, tomatoes, and bananas in mass
The goods and services are of high demand in town because of the increased population in town, the town has got many people whose life depend on food for healthy living
I chose this kind of business after realizing the potential need of the community and demand they were for in terms of food supply, the difficulties I was having in my house also motivated me to start the business
A full pack of onion bag goes at a cost of 1300 and a full boxtomatoes goes at a cost of 2700,the profit I receive I use to expand the business in buying fertilizers and increasing farm labour in town also
I will use the loan to buy fertilizers and to increase the labour availability in my farm
With the fertilizers, the fertility of the soil will be increased and this will mean a high and quality goods produced during harvesting, this will benefit me in that I will earn more profit by selling quality products, the business will thus be expanded and the community in need of the products will also get quality goods
