About Me

I am a young driven entrepreneur from Mombasa Island looking to make it in the beauty and make up business. I began my venture as early as after completing my secondary education. My cousin and I partnered to start selling a few beauty products to family friends and even neighbors. For some time our business was thriving until she left to study in another Province. Venturing into business as an entrepreneur was not easy however, after I joined College I had to find a means of survival as I could not live on the little money my parents could afford to send me. I used some portion of my keep up finance as capital to begin my venture and I have not turned back since.

My Business

I run a small beauty shop which is my main source of income. I buy my stock in retail and sell them to clients. My business is my passion and it is my interest in the beauty world that drove me to begin my journey.On weekly basis I could make up to Ksh. 8000 with a profit of four thousand shillings. Although small, I am proud of how far it has come and from several previous loans I have received from Zidisha I have included more items to my stock.

Loan Proposal

I want to buy accessories, specifically watches to add to my current stock. I want to buy at least seven watches to begin my sale. Each watch goes for $1.50-$2.00 and I intend to resale them at $ 5.00. I expect to make a profit of approximately $21.0 to $24.5 on the total sale. The profit of this sale will help me increase the quantity of my stock and in the long run also increase my profit which I will use to market my business. Marketing will give my business exposure create awareness of my products to my potential clients . This will be a step in the right direction to help my business grow.
