The reason for adjusting downwards my repayment amount is because of reduced income in my business. In December many people and institutions had closed and thereafter proceeded to spend their holiday upcountry. This had a significant effect on the Boda Boda (Motorcycle transport) business because we are used to carrying people who work in town (Nairobi) and children to school. The business is set to pick up from February.

I take this opportunity to Thanks my lenders who have been supportive and allowed me to achieve great milestones in my life. May God bless you. The first loan i applied for was used to get an operating permit and insurance, i started operating immediately i received it and it went a long way to get by business back on track. The second loan that i have just completed was used for paying my part of the open heart surgery bill for my daughter. The surgery was very successful and I thank God. You can have a look at the discussions to see the photos and the progress she has made so far. After the surgery her medical expenses on drugs went down significantly. We are only incurring therapy costs. I take this opportunity to thank lenders for standing with me.

Dear Lender,
On 23rd May 2015, we had the Mater Heart run (materheartrun.com/) that is an annual event. It is from this run that the Mater Heart run foundation raise funds for heart procedures. I am therefore expecting a date soon, and as i posted earlier there is a long waiting list of children for surgery. I will keep you updated as well when i get the dates. Thank you very much my lenders, the amount i received was taken to the hospital to pay my part of the hospital bill.

Hello Judith,
I'm glad too and thanks for your support in raising the money. Amen, that too is my prayer. God is with her. I was at the Mater Hospital and the doctors are yet to schedule the date for the operation, i was told there is a line because other kids are also scheduled for heart operation. Once they set the date i will keep you posted and update you on her progress.

The loan that I received from Zidisha, came at a time when my boda boda (PSV motorcycle was grounded and am grateful for the lenders who financed my loan proposal. I was able to resume operation and earn daily income. I have been able to buy my sick daughter drugs and give her special dietary attention.
