My name is Mike Wanyama. Was born and raised in Bungoma town western Kenya. I never attended school as my parent was not able to to afford thee fees. Having been raised by single mother life was not all that good at the tender age. I used to cultivate on peoples farm at an early age of 9 just to fend for myself and my younger siblings. I started this business as an employee, trained to ride the boda boda and got the required documents to be able to operate as a boda boda operator. I was employed to ride the motor-bike and give a certain percentage of my earnings everyday to the owner of the motor-bike. I worked for a year and half managed to save enough to buy my own bike.Whats so unique in where i live is that people are more friendly and willing to assist. When my children grow up i would very much like them to be doctors, engineers or lawyers. Am a football fan, i love listening to music as well
I offer transport services to people as well as goods from one destination to the other. They are useful as in everyday life there is movement of person and goods from one place to the other and as such they do need a mode of transport and that's where i come in. I chose this kind of business as it became my passion and also having trained on the same. I fuel my boda boda with say 500 kes daily and make atleast 2000 kes every two days. I use the proceeds to pay for my daughters fees and also buy food and invest back in businessas well.
I will use this loan to build credit history so as to qualify for a higher loan and to gain investors trust.
