Greetings, My name is Musa ondieki, I successfully completed my graduation in Agribusiness from Egerton University njoro campus, Prior to that, I passed my school life from ngata primary school and shinners boys high school before proceeding to moi University from a bachelor's degree in social sciences.
There are six members in my family. My father is a Farmer & mother is a business woman selling household items. I have three brothers and three sisters I’m the second son of my father. My younger brother is still studying at Nairobi University. I gained passion for farming because my father used to like me alot and most of the holidays when away from school we spent time at the farm.
I’m good at communication skills which enabled me to convince people in my fathers favour through logical argument and critical discussion which promoted his sales in the farm.
I believe its time for me to lead my family to focus more on agricultural activities rather than employment, Once I used to work for a certain company as an agronomist but unfortunately due to covid 19 most workers me included were laid off, I struggle to raise my family with labour jobs which was also hard to get, we atimes went to bed with no food, because of this I promised myself to focus more on farming to be self employed and to provide for my family at all time.
My ultimate goal is to be a farmer who will not only feed my family but the whole community as I hope to leave behind a successfully farm which will run for many years even after my time comes to pass. With the appropriate studies I believe that I predict myself as a very successful self employed farmer- and customer-oriented manager in my farm.
My hobbies are watching movies and listening to songs.
My business is farming, I keep cows, chicken and pigs, I plant maize crop in small scale for production of chicken feeds and food for the family.
My poultry farm currently have 2500 layer birds of improved kienyeji and 800 broilers, I earn income from selling eggs and chicken meat, Milk production is also a boost for the farm.
With help from wife and children the farm make at least 2000 us dollars as profit each month which I use in home development.
I also own a poshomill which generates a daily income and helps in making chiken feeds.
I will buy maize flour packaging bags to help with packing of maize flour for my customers.
Thank you for the support.
