My name is Konadu victoria, a 42-year-old lady who has seen it very hard in life. I was born to parents who were typical farmers but because lack of adequate knowledge found it very hard to make great impact into the future life of their children. I was someone who did not have the maximum opportunity in my education. I therefore was more concerned of how to make money in life. I therefore quitted school very early in life. By the age of 25, I got married to a man who was a driver. I had two children with him but the very unfortunate incident one day happened. My husband had an accident and was able to make it in life. Before my husband died, he had it in mind to set up a provisions shop which be used to assist the family in times of need. He was able to set up the container but was unable to stock it before his demise. Life became very difficult and I found it very difficult even pay the fees of the children. I was given great favor by a good Samaritan, who gave me some money to pick up some items. I believe by the grace of God and through Zidisha, I will be able to sustain this provisions shop.
I am into the business of running a provisions shop. I started this business with a capital which was not my own but was given to me out of sympathy by someone. Some of the items I sell in the shop are toffees, biscuits, pens pencils, toilet rolls, soaps and so on. I pick these items from a wholesale shop in a near by town. My shop is very close to the lorry station and therefore people who normally partronise my goods are drivers, passengers and school children of the locality. The business has been earning some profit that I can use to expand the business and also cater for the home. It is through this same business that I use to cater and pay for the fees of my children. It is my dream to see this business grow so that I can cater for the needs of the family in the absence of my husband. I believe Zidisha is the perfect platform for me to achieve this fate. Thank you.
I wish to apply for this loan to settle the school fees of my children. I am in to the business of running a provisions store. I get some profit from this business but it has been difficult to raise quite a reasonable large amount in bulk to pay the fees of my children. Through this loan, I can be able to settle the fees and use the profit I get from my business to complete the payment. I promise to abide by all rules and regulations governing this noble firm. Thank you.
