I was born to a very humble family that had no formal education. This illiteracy of my parents did not break them down but made them recognize the need for girl child education. I started primary school and it was never easy catching up with the boys in class as there always look down upon you being a girl. This did not deter me from studying hard as to prove a point to this boys in my class. I was among always among the top of my class from the primary to the tertiary level. I attended teacher training with the idea of becoming a teacher and also been able to educate fellow girls. One thing that is very unique here is that parents are embracing the need for a girl child education. I have a 3 year old girl and she always tell me that she wants to be a doctor in order to save lives. I like reading novels and other interesting books when i am free.
I am into the education service and i receive my income from the government by giving formal education to pupils. Formal education is very needed in order to broaden pupil horizons and also to make them fearless when it comes to literacy. I choice this profession because i wanted to serve as a role model and also encourage other girls that they can be whatever they want to be if they take their studies very seriously. Through my own money i have been able to some books but not enough books for this girls so that they increase their vocabulary.
Thank you zidisha lenders. The first loan was to be used to support my school feeding program but i later realize that the books of the pupil were not in good shape so i used the money to buy textbooks for them. I also want this loan to continue with the textbook for all pupil in my school program that i have started.
