About Me

My name is Micheal Phiri, iam a taxi driver, i was on born in the Eastern part of Zambia on 11th July, 1990.I went to Emmasdale Primary school.I come from the family 3 girls and 2 boy.Being the first born it has not been easy because you to work hard to inspire your siblings.I completed my high school at Kamwala high but could not find money to take to the University of Zambia for further studies, hence i got trained as taxi driver and obtained class B license.However, i got a job as taxi driver and i generate income every day hence i managed to a house plot, i have built but i have not yet put roofing sheets.When i heard of zidisha loans got interested applied for the loans.The major reasons is want to complete roofing the to avoid the the forth coming rain season.Our land is unique due to cultural ceremonies that place.I wish my children success in school and i want to do more than i have done as a parent.I love football during weekend when am not working.

My Business

I provide transport to people and i maneuver from place to place around the city of Lusaka.The service i provide is very useful because people need transport every mornig when going to various working environments.I generate income every day .I choose the transport sector as a business due to high demand of transport in an area where am residing there are a few vehicles and most people use my car for hire.I generate USD 25 to USD 30 every day.i use most profits towards home renovation or constructions.Most profits i use to recondition the vehicles and other requirements when needed.

Loan Proposal

I need loan of an amount of USD 80 to help me buy roofing sheets, worth USD 50, i also need USD 20 to buy wooden blanks to cover the roof and USD 10 I want to use it for making of window flames.This will benefit my family because once i complete we need to move into house to avoid rentals.The rest should there be change i will need to buy nails .
