I am Iris Kinuthia, I was born in April 18th 1985 at Kapsabet and my family they still live at the same county of Kapsabet. I schooled at Nyandarua County from Class 1 to class 8 at School known as Rurii Primary school and I later Joined High school at Nyandarua High school.
currently I live at Kapkures Nakuru county where I operate my business for selling clothes as well chicken keeping at my home, I have been on the Business for selling clothes for 2 yrs now and also chiken keeping for one year now and it has been very succesful.
In my clothing business I do sell clothes of different types clothes to my customers. I do sell trousers for ladies, trousers for men, shirts, skirts, vests and underwear of all types. I sell both new clothes only. Clothing business is on high demand and most of my clients preffer to have something new and presentable. New fashions are coming in everyday and people love updating themselves as the world moves on especially the ladies.
In a month I buy clothes in a wholesale price that worth $150 and I sell them within 2 to 3 weeks. When I calculate the profit I noticed that I make a profit of $70 to $100 in a month. I use this profit to purchase other clothes as I increase my stock and I also use the rest of the revenue to meet the needs of my children at school by providing the necessary support for , and also pay for electricity bill, transport and food as well Business rent.
Loan Proposal
I will buy trousers both for men and women that worth $25, I will buy shirts and skirts that cost$ 17 and I will also buy vests and underwear that worth $15. This will increase stock in my shop thus increasing sales in the shop
I will use this KES 200 loan to buy more stock of shoes & clothes of which I will use the $100 to get children clothes and $100 for shoes for women and I am believing to sale more during this Christmas season. My business goal is to have a big shop within 5 years and to expand from the one I have now.. I hope that in the future, I will be successful in my business. This is my second loan application even though I have been slow in repaying my loan due to my husband sickness but I am thankful that he is now well and I am able to continue with my business with no worries previous loans were repaid successfully.
