I was born in makueni county in the eastern province of Kenya. Born 3rd of 6 children. I went to mukamene primary school which is about 10 km away. I completed my primary education and passed my exams and I joined the nearby secondary school mukamene. Unfortunately I didn't finished my high school due to lack of school fees. I moved to Nairobi for employment and I worked as a helper in a Epz factory which produces clothes for export. I worked for 3 years saving atleast 60% of my income. I started a small business of selling furniture material like velvet, cushions and sponges to the carpenters. I got good people who promoted my investment products that enabled it to grow. They are social, motivating and encouraging. I like there contributions to my business. I would like to see my children be God fearing, concentrate in there education to become useful people to the society. I like swimming, reading and meeting new people with new ideas.
I sell furniture goods like cushions, sponges, velvet, nails and threads to carpenters and esteemed customers my business is located in a strategic place where many carpenters are situated. I chose the business because of it's demands with its good return. I spent $150 in a week balancing my business of which profits are encouraging that has enabled me to survive. I use my profit in growing my business, paying my daily expenses, and helping my parents to pay school fees to my younger brothers and sisters.
i will use my loan to add more stock in my shop which will enable it to expand.
i will use $60 to buy sponges,
i will use $60 to buy velvet,
i will use $60 to buy cushions and use $18 to buy carpets.
this will enable me to have enough goods for my customers and expand my business which will in turn increase my profit by over 40% and this will help me to care for my family basic needs and even create job opportunities for other people.
