My names are Samuel Gacheru, a 30 years old born in Kerugoya, Kirinyaga county, I attended Karimaini primary School until my standard 8 in the 2001. I later joined Karimaini secondary for my O-level qualification until 2005. I went to Thika Institute of Business College in the year 2006 where I did 2 years diploma in Information technology. After I completed my studies, i was attached at Morning star Computer College to offer computer tutorials for 6 months where I gained experience including confidence and also a chance to learn more in my career. I later could not able to cope with the high living standard in the town since I did not have a source of income and therefore I had to go home. I started looking for employments around home as I live with my parents. I got a computer tutorial job at an academy at small town in kirinyaga county and was earning 50 USD per month. I worked for only 3 months. I am married with 3 and half years old son.
During the attachment at morning star computer college, the director noted that I was committed to my work and promised to help me incase chance arises. He called me after one of the tutors in the college resigned and was ready to pay me 70 USD per month. I knew that this salary was still low since I had to relocate from home and the living standard is high in town than home. However I knew I will gain much in town than in the village. I worked for two years and managed to save for 3 computers.
I started my computer bureau with the three computers in the year 2011, during this time; I had learnt basic computer maintenance, web design, and software installation where I charged. I would also design wedding cards, invitation cards, business cards as well as calendars. I realized that I had a passion in graphic design than any other profession, it also earned me more money than other specializations of IT I used to do. I decided to concentrate on graphic design, however, the computer I had allocated for this was slow as some software like the one I use to design required higher specifications than the one I had. I approached my older sister to led me 200 USD to purchase a core 2 duo computer, she could not afford this much since her daughter was joining high school and therefore she was also not able. She only led me 100 USD and therefore I could not afford to buy the computer I needed, I bought a Pentium 4 computer which I am using until now.
Recently, I have been overwhelmed by work since this computer has also become slow, this is because currently there is lots of calendar design jobs I have been doing, nowadays the software I want to use does not support these graphics software. Now I am being forced to go to use my friend’s laptop to design these calendars. This business has helped me and for the last 6 months I have been forced to bring my wife on board, this is because the government has embraced technology, we are now assisting local people to understand the technology the government require them to know, these includes online tax return, Payment registration as well as Driving license issuance and renewal. Other services the government is offering online include business name search and registration, motor vehicle online booking, PSV application as well as ministry of land is pilot testing online services. The government of Kenya aspects cyber café people to train other people, and therefore they train us to train. We charge them in all these services.
My loan will help me buy a Digital Sony Camera that will be used to take photo passport in my cyber. with the Epson printer in my cyber, it is good to use it and help me maximum. it is a good printer and can print Photo passports, i therefore need a good digital camera of the following specifications.

At least 10.0 Megapixels
At least 2 gb memory
