About Me

Farming calls me out by name. I grew up farming and never thought that I would once consider it to be a good business to think about but this changed when I interacted with fellow Kenyans who viewed it differently.

My Business

I grow herbs for the export market. I am working towards direct export. I have been audited for Global GAP certification and yes, am certified.

Loan Proposal

In the recent past, we have had an increase in cancer cases and one of the ways I ensure that my farm produce is safe is to use the least amount of chemicals as possible. To achieve this, I purchase yellow and blue traps to trap specific pests. The yellow trap is good to trap white flies at the farm while the blue traps do a good job to trap thrips. This ensures that the end user enjoys herbs that are free of chemicals.

The traps cost USD 30 each.
