I am Alex Ng`ang`a, I come from a family of four brothers and three Sisters. We live in Nakuru town with both our parents. Most of us are business persons.
I have gone to school and completed my A level studies before joining business college in Nakuru town for my vocational studies.
I started my business from small savings which i acquired from casual jobs i took up within my local town and i am so grateful that my shop keeps on attracting more clients, as I keep stocking more diverse products.
From the native part of where I come from, we like to believe we are very entrepreneurial, and we strive to make a livelihood from the little we can spare, which I can say, is not much at all, but we manage.
We depend much on business and as such my schooling is meant to give me more knowledge in that field, as white collar jobs can most times than not, be hard to come by.
I have no children yet but looking forward to some in the future (2 boys, 2 girls). Right now, am more intent in building a future I can be proud of, and assisting my loving parents and siblings.
Reading assorted books is a passion and listening to music (soul music, the old schools) is my therapy.
I sell assorted items in my small shop (though not too small now, thanks to you), and you can see a portion of them on my profile picture. The goods I sell are basic commodities and people use them everyday as they fit perfectly in the definition of basic necessities.
I deal in food items, utensils, few accessories (beauty and electrical), food additives, raw vegetables and grains. Definitely these are essential goods for daily life, and they do quite well in the demography I serve.
Previously, I used to make an average of $ 155 on a monthly basis. My bills, costs and expenses at that point were at $80. The remaining amount I would plough back into the business to at least get a few items my customers would inquire for.
What I plan to do when I get these additional funds is not only to diversify the kind of products I stock, but to increase on the stock i already have. The Hair pieces (extensions) you enabled me purchase with my previous loans had been doing so well, and i intend to restock the same, as the same have quickly gained popularity this side of the Sahara.
The additional funds I seek to get will greatly propel me in expanding my now fast growing enterprise from the humble beginnings that my esteemed lenders know so well, as we started this journey together, and we proceed together to greater heights, with my lenders as key stake holders.
I sincerely hope that my humble application shall meet your kind consideration. I am ever so grateful. Thank you!
Hi,
With the loan amount i intend to increase the quantity of stock in my retail business, especially plastics like basins and buckets, and a variety of some other kitchen utensils, as the same have been on demand and i have been unable to adequately meet the said demand. the same will cost me roughly$65.
With the remainder of the loan amount ($25), i shall seek to renew my local business permit with the local authorities as the period for the same is almost lapsing.
With increased stock and a renewed license, and i can be able to stay open and serve my community.
My profits will be projected to rise from the current 30% to about 45% as the commodities i plan to re stock have a ready market.
