About Me

I am a trader, farmer and a social worker , working with compassion for Humanity foundation, an NGO helping my community and younger youth to learn a trade for their future. Currently, I have four children. I believe the supports will help me to improve my small business and also earn more income .I live in Koforidua and run my project in a village called Adawso in Akuapem –North district.
It is a small village with a population of 1,600; Tuesdays and Fridays are market days in my village. And farming employs 95% of the people and on these market days all the farmers comes to buy and sell their farm product. Selling agro –chemicals and other food staff sell faster and the earnings or profit is good, that is why I chose to trade in such business. Besides, I run a school and Youth Apprenticeship Program for my community .The educational programs is to help educate all children and providing youths with working/learning tools within to have a better education for their future.

My Business

My business provides my village market with food staff and ago-chemicals for the farmers. The demand for such goods is high and every Market days, goods almost get finished.This makes it more profitable. there are some risks, the business faces is the lack of capital to buy more goods.Every Month it cost about $300 for Goods,sales revenue a month is also $450 and the profit in a month is $100, after paying off other expenses like transport. With this profit, when given the Loan, i can pay even before repayment date.
The school and the apprenticeship program is a charity project to help the rural children get some education for a brighter future. The school does charge a small school fees to assist teachers and other running cost of the school. whiles Apprenticeship students also pay back their tools as loan.
In this application is to finish up our school building before the rain destroyed the already half build class room for the children.

Loan Proposal

Dear Lenders
As can see Business has being good and am able to pay back loan as promised.
Today I apply for another loan to keep improving business by buying more farming product and Tools for sales. I have the intention to also buy new product as well.
This with my Loan I intend to buy a freezer to start sell fresh fish as well.
I believe this will also give more opportunity to expand my business.
