My name is Augusta Kusi Kosi. I was born into a family that is synonymous to poverty. I started looking after myself at the age of 8 because, 2 months before I was born, my father died in a motor accident and my mother also followed 8 years later and left me all in an isolated village.
Fortunately, one Carpenter in the community liked me so much that, he instructed me to come and learn carpentry so I can stop this "beg for food) and life a conformable life.
I have managed and passed out by the grace of God as a Carpenter.
My hustles during my apprenticeship made me to some basic tools that I would need to start business as a carpenter.
Today, I have my own shop just by the roadside under one of these local canopies. In view of this, I am looking for a loan to rent a place which I can use for my shop.
At the end of the period, whatever profit I realize will be reinvested into the business so I can earn more to support others.
My heart was filled with gladness with the benefits that my first loan gave me. I unreservedly acknowledge the magnanimous lenders who are the pillars of Zidisha. I am also grateful to the entire Zidisha community for being the strong tower that mediates us (borrowers and lenders).
I wish to submissively apply for a second loan to buy some pieces of wood for my carpentry business (to make room furniture which some of my clients have ordered). I hereby humbly appeal to my lenders to help me finance this project with a loan.
I hope this humble application or appeal would meet your most benevolent consideration and approval.
Thank you.
