About Me

My name is Evance Oduor. I am 26 years old. I grew up in a rural village in Ugenya Constituency, Siaya County in Kenya. I was raised by my grandmother, having lost my mother when I was 4 years. With support from the modest income from my father, who was working in Nairobi as a supermarket attendant, our grandmother brought the four of us up. I was lucky to go through the 8-4-4 system of education. My father paid for my primary and secondary education. He then died in 2013, two years after me completing high school. I then used money paid from his insurance scheme to pay for my higher education. I studied Bachelor of Education (Arts) at Kenyatta University, graduating in 2018.
I was fortunate to land a contractual job at Longhorn Publishers PLC as an Editorial Assistant almost immediately after my graduation.

My Business

I am employed as an Editorial Assistant at Longhorn Publishers PLC, a company that is listed on Nairobi Stock Exchange. I earn 400 dollars a month. This is the money I intend to use to repay the loan I am seeking to borrow.

Loan Proposal

I intend to add some money on this loan and buy some medications that were recommended by the doctor to improve my health.
