About Me

I am a 4th year undergraduate student at kisii university college studying Agribusiness management course. I joined campus in the year 2011 after completing my kcse certificate in the year 2010 from a local secondary school in Nyahururu. My parents are living in nyahururu town and doing small business to earn living and also support mr and my other siblings in paying school fees. We love them so much and it is my dream to support them in future. I am a secind botn child of our family of four. My youngest brother is of 8 years old. While studying i am birn entrepreneur too. I have started Grocery business in Nyahururu town selling fruits, salads and green vegetables to local communiy in nyahururu. Nyahururu is about 20 kms from Nakuru town and it is densely populated which make good maeket for my business.I started this business 3 months ago and i wont regret starting it. It has grown and know i am expecting to open another branch and diversify the business. The challenge i am facing is lack of funds.

My Business

I am operating grocery business which i started 3 months ago from the capital i had saved from the pocket money given by my parents and others i lobbied from friends who generously contributed to me. I started this business because i had passion in entrepreneurship and also the availability of the market yo my business bush me to start yhis project. The issue of being in campus didnt stop me in running a yearning project. I want to be a self reliant. I have employed 2 people to help me run the business as i complete my degree course. I pay them ksh 6000 per month each. The business make a profit of 2000 per day and sometimes it goes to ksh2500 when customers are many. I make sure i maintained the trend of profit increment by attracting more customers and also provide them with quality products. There is stiff competition from the local competitors but customers prefer where they are being treated with satisfaction. I make sure my products are fresh and being delivered as per the specificaton and also in time. The challenge i am facing in this lucrative business is lack of money to address the high demand from customers. My current financial status cant quench their denand at all. They always ask more. I humbly welcome and ask for the financial suppot of this business from willing lenders in order to bush this our business together.
