About Me

I am James makiya ,I am married with one child,I am a form three leaver,I am a businessman,I live with my family at Efrahim Estate in Nakuru county where my wife is a casual worker. I live in a rental place a two bedroom house where I pay $ 59 us dollas. I am the bread winner of my family
I own a small car that I use for my private transport.

I started business in 2003 since all my parents had died I was not able to complete my high school Education,so from what my parents left I bought an old car that enabled me to start a private transport business.
Since I started this business it has greatly helped not only me but my family at large.
By doing this business has enabled me to bring up my family as well educate my younger brothers and sisters from my earning .
What I can tell anybody who want to develop in business needs to start with a good capital to enable him or her to grow develop first in business,when you start with less capital you will take much long to move to other level

My Business

My business name is MAKIYA TRANSPORTERS is Located at WATER BUCK HOTEL in Nakuru box number 14387-20100 Nakuru.It is sole proprietorship,It was established May 2003.
It is licenced under single business permit under the municipal council of Nakuru.

My business deals with transportation of workers from work to their residential places.

Most of my customers prefer my business because of the services they are offered and as well the my costs are standard from the other competitors.

My business is like a food selling business since people has to go to work and back to their homes they have to use vehicles ,though there is more competitors they depends how first I can deliver the services to them.The site where I am located there is no more competitors hence my services to my clients are good,first and reliable all the time,though you can here some complains but not more since there is no perfect person.
My business is profitable for one I do understand very well the business since is the only business I have been doing since 2003,so have old clients from major firms,industry and some ministries who
calls me for my services at a large. hence making more profit though some times I don´t meet their needs.

I have a financial risk I started my business with small capital which make me to grow very slow and loose some clients by not meeting all their needs,Technology New technologies, especially those characterized as “paradigm shifts” or “disruptive” have long and costly acceptance cycles, they have run into unpredictable performance ,operation risk,Since some of my clients call for door delivery which comes very difficult for me to deliver my services to them in time.

I do meet my monthly needs in terms of paying house rent,labour and other small work expenses,If I get $2353 Us dollars I will buy a bigger vehicle so that to cut down fuel consuption due to numeral trips that I make which become more costly , hence meeting my clients needs as well adding value to my work.My business will grow first to a different level.

Hello,thank you Zidisha for the first loan that I received it helped me so much that I repaired my business car and I was able to work in spite of small challenges that I faced during this period that was short.The second loan I will buy one new Tyre as well the lest will be for emergency.From this I will work more comfortable as well I will work successfully.
