About Me

Am mackson Chiro a resident of mtwapa mtomondoni in kenya Am the third born in a family of six. The elder is a girl, married and settled with her husband. the second is a boy who is with me helping me with my business Am living with my family and am also doing my business here.I went up to standard eight in Kolewa primary school in Kilifi county. Born in the remote area of Kolewa its been a struggle for me and my family to at least get our daily bread. After my class eight exam i moved to mtwapa to look for an employment. i got a job that was very low paying considering my family depending on me. I had to look for alternative and that's how i got into this business. I chose to to this business because i had interest in bicycles since childhood. ,i do sell motorbike spare parts here in mtwapa, apart from this business,i do farming.i went to class 8 at kolewa primary school but never proceeded further.i started this business to earn a living and help my family..am married with 4 children schooling at Kolewa primary.i will use my earnings to expand my farming business and hence generate more profits.

My Business

My business is selling of motorcycle spare parts within mtwapa besides farming. My customers are maily those who transport goods from the farm to the town center. we also do repairs here Mtwapa is a high populated area with people of different ethinic communities we have new people coming to Mtwapa giving us the great opportunity to do our business better..Demand for these spare parts is there due to the high motorcycle business within here.My customers prefer coming here due to my reasonable charges to my customers. It is profitable because there is no competition. My gross profit is kshs 23,000 and expenses kshs 10,000.My business has risks too like when it rains heavily most of my clients cant come due to the poor road fro the farm. there is also a river crossing the road from farm that become flooded when it rains heavily make a total month;y earning of ksh 23,000 and my expenses are ksh 10,00. so i save ksh 13,000 per month. The balance can be used to pay my good lenders. My main goal is to expand my business and eventualy start selling even motor bicycles. And with zidisha i hope to achieve my goals.
