Loan Proposal

I have two goal with this loan:
1. Paid self-development freelance courses.
2. Increase capital for my online business.

1. When I joined online freelancing (which you, my lenders, have made possible), my goal was to enjoy flexibility and financial freedom. I have managed to secure some free time each day and therefore I am working less hours.

I therefore identified a project which I will be doing during the free time so as to supplement my online income. I have been selling items on an online platform. I have already opened a shop at https://www.jumia.co.ke/ (which is an online selling and buying platform almost similar to Amazon) and I have made several sales in the electronic category.

How it works.
You open a shop on Jumia.co.ke. Post products that you wish to sell. Buyers buys your product. You deliver bought products to Jumia offices. Buy sends your sales money which includes your profit. The cycle continues.
As I have continued to put work in, my business has grown. The challenge has been when I get more orders than the capital making it impossible to supply most of the items ordered. I see this as a lost business opportunity since there is potential but limited capital.

If you grant me these funds, it will take me a great mile to establish another source of income since this is what I have always wanted to do - have financial freedom with flexibility.

2. In my freelance career, I have grown to a point I need to expand my skills to be able to serve my client better. While there are many free courses that one can draw from, I need to enroll in a particular paid course to take my skills to the next level. This will cost $150

Once again, I cannot thank you enough. Through your lending my livelihood have changed and that of my sibling. I have been motivated by what you do to us and therefore my goal is to eventually get to that point where I will be able to fully support my family financially as well as Zidisha borrowers.
