About Me

My name is Abiba Gariba born in 1982 at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. I had my basic school and secondary education in Kumasi before proceeding to a Polytechnic and a University. I am currently a teacher at Mount Carmel Girls Senior High School in Techiman . I must be honest that I didn't have a smooth beginning as my family background was very weak. Notwithstanding, through the help of Allah I was able to break through the storm to this level with the assistance of my uncle.

My Business

I am a salary earner as I said in the beginning that I am a teacher. I also deal in pastries which I supply to vendors and to our school. To be specific, Ideal in pies, cakes and chips. The demand for my products are in high demand as people continue to celebrate birthdays for themselves and their children. I am into this business because they are of high demand because irrespective of your financial background you need food to survive. Again, it is sold in such a way that anybody can buy them as they go for 50 pesewas and GH1.OO. to the students. There is a lot of profit in this business as the market is already there. I normally use the profit to reinvest in growing my business so that I can produce them in a large scale.

Loan Proposal

I intent to use GH 468 to pay into membership loan fund and membership fee with Zidisha and I have agreed to receive GH 12 and pay the loan of GH 505.OO. My decision is born out of the trust I have in Zidisha . Again , this will enable me to apply for a second loan and subsequent loans with huge amount so that I can use it to expand my business.
It is my hope that this application shall be honoured.

Thank you.
