About Me

My names are Carolyne Lusinde Muhumbwa. I am a mother of one son who is 10 years old and I live in the area of Kawangware in Nairobi where I work as a Bus conductor for the K.B.S company.

My Business

I am working as a bus service woman, and I do the work of collecting fare or transport fee from commuters. I am employed by the K. B. S (Kenya Bus Service) company. I wish to train as a driver and take up the role of a driver because the job is better paying than my current job. I get paid on a daily basis, at a rate of about $15 per day and i pay my health insurance and pension scheme from my dues at the end of the month. I also have an ambition of setting up a small business to supplement my income because I am often free on days that I am not on duty. I plan to start and grow a small clothing retail business in which I will be buying and selling second-hand shoes and women's handbags.

Loan Proposal

I would like to use the amount to start paying for my installments so that I can take up professional driving classes, which will also include first aid and safety training and handling of public transport vehicles under the company that I currently work as a bus conductor.
