About Me

My name is Jemima Oppong , I reside in Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region .I school at Sunyani Senior High School and completed in 2008. After my completion i was working with some supermarket around. My parents were farmers.
In life it take ones own imagination to be poor whiles we have so many opportunities. With the little savings I made when I was working for the supermarket, I started my own pig farm and the demand for pig meat has increase drastically in my community.

My Business

After working with the supermarket, my parents use to do pig farm so i decided to adopt that business and learn about such business I did and it is running very good in it shape. I started way back 2 years ago and i am having 13 pigs now. I have fenced it and it fence take 2 pigs. I spent most of my time with them and i have employ 2 workers along with me, which they always check with their feeding and also do keep their fence always clears so that they do not contact any diseases. I choose this kind of business because pig feed became viability in my area.
My capital is small and I need money to expand my business and also buy exotic feeds like weart brown, feed brown and rice brown. The loan will help me to expand the business so that I can get more customers.

Loan Proposal

Thank you once again lenders for this great opportunity to apply for another loan. With this loan I will use $270 .27 to purchase both male and female underwear because I want to expand the business and reach out to the men as well which will also help me gain or increase my profit margin. And use the rest which is $ 154.6 to support the pig's project by buying feed. Thank you lenders. I am counting on your usual support and approval. God bless you.

Jemima - even though you are so far behind in paying back your lenders, I really think if you make even small payments, your lenders will understand and support you in the future.

It always gives me great joy to be part of an amazing group as zidisha. And most importantly I'm grateful to my lenders for for their kind support they give me. The loan a took previously was used to maintain the pig's farm, purchased the male and female underwear and as well pay for my hostel accommodation. Also the businesses helped me to increase my profit margin tremendously and due to that I had enough to cater for myself at school and also help my junior brother also in school in termsof books, feeding among others things which contributed to peace of mind to study and be fulfilled. thank you so much my lenders you don't know how your support have. Been helping me n giving the hope that I will not struggle to finish my education and that of my brother's. God bless you all.

I wholeheartedly appreciate my lenders. You have contributed a lot to my life and I will forever be grateful for your kind heart and consideration. With the loan I received I was able to buy feed and medicine for the pigs, also I was able to purchase both male and female underwear which I was selling during my leisure hours in school. This was all possible due to your support. The two business caused a raise in my profit margin which helped me to cater for my books and other expenses in school. I was also able to support my junior sibling in the junior high school by paying his fees and as well using some of the profit to repay my loan
I have come again pleading that lenders should come to my aid and support me once again. This is because it's another academic year and I have paid a fees of 1126.45 Ghana cedes to be able to register for this academic year. This has reduced my capital. so I need this loan to add to what I have right now to be able to purchase some of the underwear and as well cater for the pigs so that I will be able to pay for others things necessary for my education such as books, accommodation fees among others and also support home whenever they need my assistance. I am counting on your usual Support. Thank you and may God bless you.

Too many volunteers doing the work, and not enough paid workers.... The problem is if there are more paid workers, zidisha has less money to lend to borrowers...You can not easily *make* a volunteer do something.

Anytime I apply for a loan I remember my first time I was introduced to this great platform which has been of a huge support to those of us who wanted to make it in life and support the people around us such as family, friends and our community at large. Thank you zidisha lenders for your great initiative to support and give hope to the world... May God continue to bless and increase you.
I benefited a lot with the loan I received. I was able to start my new business which is the women underwear in my school which I was able to make profit which has supported me a lot in my education for buying books and other materials. I even send money home to support the family back home. I also used some to support the pig farm especially in the area of feed and medication.. With this loan my life have really improve as I was also able to involve my sister in the underwear business by sending some to her to sell and keep the profit for her up keep. I will invite her to join this great family when I'm giving the chance to invite. Thank you once again. I am grateful.

    Hello Oppong.
I hope you are well... I notice that you have improved your repayment rate, but your next repayment is past due. It would be unfortunate, if your rate was to now drop. Remember, if you are having problems with the repayments, that you can reschedule.

    Good luck.
