my names are patricia nthambi kilonzo, born in nairobi kenya.went to st pauls primary school, later joined huruma girls seconary .then later joined church army school of bussiness studies.i got pregnant immmedietly after my secondary school.so taking care of my baby was quite hard.i had to juggle my between my studies in college and my bringing up my baby,so i had to work in day time and and go to college in the evening so it was a challenge but still i had to over come.when i finished college i had to find another way to sustain my income as i ws being paid peanuts where i used to work .so i started to buy second hand clothes and sell to my fellow workmates so as to get extra money.where i come from in kenya there is freedom of movement as u can do ur bussiness freely as long its a legal bussiness.and also there is mixed tribes of many communities.i have one doughter who wants to be a lawyer when she grws up.my hobbies are watching movies and getting to know new things eg.fashion,bussiness,networking,languages.
am employed in a company called mjengo ltd.but i want to start bussiness in supplying cooked food for lunch in the offices, market places, and supermarkets.as u can see nowadays peaple in the market/offices/supermarket ., hardly get time to go for lunch because of the type of job they do,so by taking the food at where they are it makes it comfortble and manage their time well and reduce movement from one place to another.i choose this type of bussiness because where am employed now i have alot of tyme as i work from 7am to11 am so i have extra hours that i can do this type of bussiness and also i have a passion for cooking for a larger group of people. i can start my bussiness with as little as kes10,000.this will help me buy cooking pots and untensils and the foodstuff to start.the profit that i will get i use to expand my bussiness to catering service and later a catering school.
with this loan i will buy cooking pots ,untesils, jikos and food stuff to start.cooking pot @kes 3000.untesils@ kes2000,foodstuff@kes 3000,jiko(cooking stove)@1500kes.....this bussiness will help people who find it hard to go for lunch, it will be easy available as i will bring food in their working place.as u know food stuff is easy to get,so i will be chargig 100kes per plate, when i sell for20 people.i get 2000kes per day ,so i can pay loan weekly and also save enough .
