My name is Stephen Kiratu Maina and a resident of racecourse estate in Nakuru town.am married with three daughters all who are in various colleges here in nakuru county. After graduating from Kenya polytechnic l was employed as a electrician for fifteen years in Nairobi city but later started my own electrical shop here in Town.Though at first it was a challenge l thank God for this far as this has enabled me to educate my daughters and develop myself economically.l as do electrical repairs within the town.
l started the electrical shop in 1997 after getting out of employment. The business is very profitable and l do get my stock from the wholesalers in Nairobi and sell at a profit margin of 30%. mostly l stock the china product as they are cheap and easily affordable to the customers.Although there is a lot of competition from other traders l make sure that my prices are competitive and my technical knowledge in this field serves as added advantage to my business.l make an average of ks 15,000 as profit after deducting the business expenses.if advanced with the loan l will add more stock to the business hence increasing the sales.
Dear lenders.l am thankful to the zidisha family for giving me this opportunity to grow my business.your effort can never go unnoticed and may Almighty God bless you.l own eletronic shop here in Nakuru and l will use the money to add more stock so as to increaes the sales.this will enable me to ex[pand my business and increase the profit.thanks alot.
