About Me

I am kinei J Daniel, 25 years of age from a family of six children. I started my education through public institution as my parents could not afford better schools as a result of family low income.
In Primary School, I worked so hard and got good Marks 407/500.I joined a provincial Secondary school due to my inability to pay for national school in 2005. The poor state of my family gave me more hope to work hard academically and that’s when I got B+ so that I could be sponsored by JAB Government sponsorship. Through this, I Joined Maseno University in 2010 for Degree in Computer science & Technology where I completed in 2014.
The money given by the government is so little to cater for all my rental expenses and fee, sometimes it gives me a challenge p take other available errands to supplement my daily upkeep in kisumu. This challenge continued to worsen while at campus and that’s when I borrowed a load worth KES 2000 to start a small business.
My life in campus was not that easy. As a result of high cost of living in Kisumu while I was undertaking my degree course, I began a small business back in campus in computer user support to help solve client issues as well as help clients install various software’s in their personal computers. That enabled me to pay part of my fees in college and also upkeep in college. Since 2013, I noticed a trendy scenario in technology usage where the clients even requested for web based applications as well as standalone applications, I thought of acquiring computer toolbox and another pc for reference in order to expand my business. I tried to expand the business but sometime the academic and family pressure gave me a lot of challenges to cope up with and that’s when I decided to take all the profits so as to lease the accessories.

My Business

My business is user support and web applications development. The business was started back in 2013 and since then, it has been growing slowly. I have been able to reach various clients from different places within the country and solve their personal computer issues.
Most of the clients even requested for me to create for them web applications to meet their current needs. I was able to create a few applications which addressed various client issues. My biggest challenge has been lack of modern workstation to address client issues, I have experienced low disk space and slow computer hence reaching few clients and also client request taking long to complete.
As a result of challenges above, I need additional fund to enhance the growth of existing business idea. I need a new workstation in order to address many clients.

Loan Proposal

Having qualified for KES 14928,I am aware that I will receive only KES 458 to supplement my budget amounting to KES 50000.The KES 458 will supplement my budget as follows
New PC=19000 KES,
Toolbox=5700 KES
Accessories=8000 KES.
Internal Server =15000 KES.
If I get the above items my working rate will increase by 60% as I will be able to serve more Customers
