My name is Jeanne nadupoi, I grew up in Olosho-Oibor. We are 5 of us. My dad passed on while I was in class 2 and life was really hard for mum raising us up.I come from a masai community where they did not regard women smuch. Mum used to wash people clothes to get food for us. When I got married I had to start a business in order to help my children, siblings and mother. My children will be great farmers in future. I like taking care of orphans.
I am a part time farmer. I lease lands near rivers. I also keep a few goat at my mum's place and chicken. I hope to expand my business to export my crops. I saw the gap in our community and lack of food and I choose crops farming.
I would also like to be buying cows especially during the drought, feed them and sell after 3 months.
I would like to buy 3 cows at $100 each and sell them in December. I will be able to reinvest the capital in buying more cow in January. I expect to get around $300 profit from the 3 cows.
