I'm a single 22 years old, third born in a family of four from Sirisia village in Bungoma county western Kenya. I have been blessed by both parents who supported me with çare and also education where I started my primary education up to secondary education, but I didnt proceed due to lack of finance. One year after my education, I joined my older brother who was working in a slaughter in kasameni kwale county coast Kenya, and I work with him for one year. Due to work challenges like overworking and working during the night, I decided to start my own small butchery with small amount of money which I have invested and also a support from my brother. I like watching movies and listening to music during my free time.
I sell cow and sheep meat which is highly demanded, as big percentage of human beings use it as their best favorite food and also does not have a high competition, because it requires large amount of capital to start, so many people cannot afford it. I chose and like my business because it is non seasonal, it moves faster and has high profit. I spent my profit to support my parents ,to overcome my needs and to upgrade my business.
My dear lenders, if I get the loan I will add my meat stock. I started my business with 50 kg of cow meat and 20 kg of goat meat, and after my first loan when I got a cutting machine, my stock was increased. Then on my third loan, I bought a freezer and managed to add 30% of my stock . My plan with this loan is to buy my own cow and goat to slaughter myself. The project will cost me $700 to which I will add from my savings. Also here on the coast many people like fish, so I am still planing to start with a small stock which will cost $98.51. I hope for now the stock is enough for my business and will help me to serve many of my customers at a time without rushing, so saving my time and money. Also my profit will increase in a certain %.
