I am a 30 hr old lady an entrepreneur. Enthusiastic and hardworking. I started my business one year ago with only one sack of maize which I sold to final consumers.Later on I managed to raise more capital from my parents and increased my stock to ten sacks of maize.my cereal shop has since then grown and admired by many.currently I buy maize from farmers and store for sale which is quite profitable and has seen reach my sales target this year.I am an example to most of my friends due to the determination I have shown in my work an business.
I have a grocery shop and sell maize at whole sale and retail price. I started the shop a year ago with only one sack of maize due to lack of capital. I later on managed to raise funds through the help of my parents who have been of great help. I now own a store that sales both whole sale and retail. On average I sell 5 to 8 sacks every week with a profit of kes 500 per sack since I buy directly from farmers.. On average i make 25000 to 30000 every month depending on daily sales. My business is at a prime place, the best location and therefore I make daily sales. Most of my profits are used to boost my stock by adding more stock. I’m also intending to diversify my business and sell a variety of products both whole sale and retail. Zidisha loan will boost me a better percentage to buy more stock
With the 400 I will buy tomatoes for sale at my store.. If I buy tomatoes worth 400 at a local market at whole sale price of 2kg at 100 bob I will make 30 bob from each 1kg which translates to a profit of 200 less kes 60 transport costs. The stock I buy can be consumed in a maximum of 3 days. That's makes it possible for me to buy the same stock twice a week. That means I will be able to make kes 400 weekly translating to a minimum of 1600 per month. That will be a great boost to my business.
