I am George Oduor Lanyo born 10th Nov 1980. I attended Makongeni primary school which I finished in 1995 followed by Uhuru secondary school finished in 1999. I then continued with my studies in Information Technology which I completed in 2004.
I started my career as a technical sales representative at Bloomberg Ltd in 2006 and moved on to Compumart Africa Ltd after a while, where I rose to the level of branch manager for the Kisii branch. After some time I decided to open my own business named G-Computers and accessories which I am still running with lots of enthusiasm.
I started my business in November last year and it has been growing steadily since then. I started with selling items such as mouses and keyboards, the business has meanwhile grown to the level of stocking computers and other items such as cameras and laptops and I still have the spirit of expanding more and more as I am still young and full of energy
.
In order to run my business I need to pay for my premises (rent), my annual business license fee to Kisii County musicality and income tax etc. to the Kenya Revenue Authority when I send my returns every three months. I am still able to make a profit out of this business and that is why I am eager to receive financial support from the Zidisha lending community which will allow me to expand my business and meet my future expectations.
Dear all lenders and all management team for the good work that you are doing and I am very much thankful for the previous loan I took, that I have managed to service well and indeed it did great improvement to my business capital and inventory as well, and hoping to create more interest this time as am expected to raise the higher loan from Zidisha again as we are approaching Christmas season holiday whereby I hope a quite number of clients will turn up and I need to have a good stock from now . I am now kindly to request my next loan to be able to purchase the following items and expand my business: toners, cartridge, mouses, headphones and other stationery items for a total amount of approximately KES 56,892.77 which is equivalent to USD $658.965. It is also my sincere request to lenders to support me and allow me to purchase these items as I am confident of the profit they will generate for my business as also increase my running capital so that in the near future I will be able to handle big tenders from the government, institutions, organizations and private business sectors in the county of Kisii. Thank you all and I request for quick fund to enable procure this above mentioned items in time. Regards George
