INTODUCION;my name is leah mokeira i am a kisii in tribe married with one child i am a n o level holder and my residence is huruma ,idid not make it to go to college but i am computer literate . my reason why i decided to begin the second hand business was because i looked for a job but failed because i did not have any skills . so i decided to do some casual jobs in a company after which i saved some money and began a small business which is selling second hand clothes my business is still young but it is supporting me to sustain my family helping my parents who are at home meet their daily basic needs i am still young just 21 years i would like to go to college using the support of my businees . i will join teaching as my profession

My Business

my business ; i started my business just 3 months ago i got the money i had saved for 6 months and i had a round 20 000/= this is about US DOLLARS 243 this money has increased my stock is now 60000/= which is US DOLLARS 731. my customers are mainly the residents of njoro town where i sell my clothes daily . i also do mobile selling where i go to different markets different days .
the clothes i sell are children clothes and i make good contacts using my phone my costs are transport to nairobi licence tax .the market i go to nearby centers sometimes i use motorbike which is more expensive . my sales are 2500/= per day after deducion i remain with 800/= profit which gives me a profit of 24000/= per month which is us dollars 292 my customers prefer my goods because i am reliable i do the business by myself i dont miss going to the market my challenges are poor roads which sometimes force me not to go to the market especialy rainy days,

Hi,
Kindly note that I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a member of Zidisha organization. I am in need of funds so that I can offset my kids school fees since the term is ending and I would not like them to close school with the outstanding fee balance
I will split the money among the three respectively.I will also be making payment of the loan weekly since for 8 weeks because that is my flexibility,and also an income I get from my small business will help much in clearing the loan.
