I started my schooling at All for Christ International School then proceeded to Berekum Senior High School then to University of Education, Winneba.
On vacation, I used to join my friends who are masons to involve myself in construction work. I was paid at the end of the day. Income obtained from this work was used to support my secondary education
I was willingly going to school and unfortunately lost my father in the process. This sad thing happened in my first year at the university. Fortunately for me, I got assistance from my uncle to support me in the university. This is how I overcame hardship in school.
People in my community are hardworking and friendly. They celebrate a festival called Kwafie in the first month of every year. The festival is celebrated to remember our ancestors and also to ask for good luck and protection throughout the year.
Children in the community are always punctual at school. Most of them want to be public servants when they grow while others want to be entrepreneurs.
I like watching football.
I am a professional teacher. I teach integrated science at Star Business Senior High School. I earn 1000 Cedis monthly.
I invest part of my money in my provision shop. I sell biscuits, toffees, soft drinks, soaps, etc. I am the only provision shopkeeper in my area hence there is high patronage at my shop. It cost 1500 Cedis to run the business every month. My return ranges between 25% and 30% every month.
I use part of my profit to support school children and orphans.
I am also a farmer. I have a cashew farm. The size of my farm is 3 acres. The government buys cashew all over the country for export. Hence there is ready market for my farm products.
It cost 1000 cedis to run the farm yearly. I earn 6000 cedis yearly
When I get the loan, I will buy chemicals to control pest and disease on my cashew farm. I will buy chemicals like Confidor and Akate Master and also five bags of fertilizer. When I am able to purchase all these chemicals and fertilizer, it will help improve my cashew nuts and also improve yielding because Confidor will control insects and pests from the farm and the fertilizer will improve the growth of the plants. All the chemicals and the fertilizer will cost 250 dollars. I will be able to cater for my family and two needy widows in my area.
