About Me

My name is Loveness Zulu. I live in Mufulira and am located in Kamuchanga township . Am a business lady and have been in business for last 10 years. I never completed my education due to many hardships, I went through as a youth. I have three 3 children and these children have made me to work extra harder in my life to achieve important goals. My vision at the moment is to work hard grow my business so that I can educate my children and go the University so that they could become either accountants or economist.

My Business

My main source of income is from second hand clothing. I buy bales of second clothing which I sell and I earn income. The goods I sell among them are shirts, jerseys, skirts, body tops, second hand blankets and bed shirts. The second hand clothing demand is very high because the clothing are strong and last long, most people buy these because they are also durable and affordable. My working capital is K 20,000.00 for 4 bales and the profit per bale is K 2000.00 hence when I purchase 4 bales, my net turn over is K 6000.00.

Project Proposal

Considering the whether conditions here in Zambia, we approaching the cold season, hence I want to purchase 2 bales men's jerseys, ladies and blankets. During cold season keep warm clothing sell very fast and make money quickly. If I buy the bales at K 5000.00 each am expected to make the profit of K 3000.00 per bale.
