I am a business woman who ventures into any profitable venture. I am currently involved in selling a local delicacy of roasted dried maize with groundnuts. I am also a baker and own an oven but unfortunately for me, I business moved from bad to worse a couple of years ago when the prices of commodities such as flour, margarine and gas started going up. I am still interested in exploring potential profitable ventures and see Zidisha as an opportunity to start all over.
I am currently into preparing and selling snacks such as roasted maize with groundnuts, preparing and selling a local drink made from the hibiscus flower called sobolo. I have been struggling to get capital to invest into my business but hope Zidisha will be helpful.
I will add this loan to boy plastic bottles to package groundnut and maize snacks I prepare and sell. I believe I will be able to make enough profit to repay the loan on time. This is because the product is a delicacy which is enjoyed by a lot of Ghanaians and sells really fast. Also, the shelf life of this product is quite long which means it will all be sold before it perishes.
