I grew up in Baringo county and after completion of high school l move to Nyahururu town to go and seek employment l was employed in bee farm and after about an year and half l decided to start my own bee farming, from the little saving l had saved
what made me to do this is because its profitable and the demand for honey is high
my children want to be farmers and l encourage them to be
my hobbies are bee keeping and reading books
My business is an agricultural business that deals with production of milk and selling to milk cooling plant.
l am a businessman in Nyahururu town in bee farming where is sell honey both in wholesale and retail to residents of Nyahururu town.
My biggest challenge is enough capital to build modern bee hives and protective gear for harvesting honey.
l normally make between $120 to $150 every month, when you offer me zidisha loan l will be able to purchase modern bee hives and also buy protective gear to use during the harvesting of honey.
My future dream is to become large scale honey producer and supply honey to other major towns.
I am always proud when my customers get satisfied.
Thanks to zidisha team and lenders as well for a chance of loans when l get this loan l will purchase three modern bee hives at a cost of $70, l will also by protective clothes for honey harvesting at a cost of $30,this loan facility will improve honey production and help me grow my business
