I am a business lady by the name Grace. I live in Embu and i was raised in Nyeri . my chilhood really consisted of tea picking with my siblings since i come from the tea zones.

My Business

I currently run detergent business and a small retail shop in Embu.I usually buy liquid detergent materials and make the detergent myself at home. Once a customer orders I deliver it myself. A 20-litre liquid detergent ranges from $10- 12.The liquid detergent is usually used for household as well as commercial use. My customers include schools, offices, carwash, and individuals. My biggest challenge has been having consist supply since once I deliver orders to my client the payment may take awhile. This may be at times monthly. This leaves me not able to deliver to some customers who might require the detergent. My wish is to get funding to buy more detergent materials so as to have a steady supply and maintain my customer needs since it feels bad not able to deliver in my business this may lead to losing them to my competitors.

Loan Proposal

I would wish to get a lender to fund my loan of $ 120 for business purposes to enable me to buy more materials to make more stock of detergent for my business. With this amount of loan, I will manage to make detergent equivalent to 16 containers of 20liters. This in return will help my business to actualize a profit of $100 which I will plough-back to the business. This will enable me to expand my business subsequently improving my life. I would wish to thank Zidisha for making the small enterprises better and believing in small business which rarely has access to credit.
