My name is Paul. I live in Eldoret, Kenya. I have passion for computers. I come from a family of 8 children and being the last born of the family, I came to develop entrepreneurial skills while in primary school, selling groundnuts, sugarcane, and fruits, to earn my own pocket-money. I wanted to be independent and financially stable as a teenager. Unlike my fellow brothers and sisters, I was able to buy my own school uniform while in class five. My passion for computers started after class eight. I went with a brother one day to check mail in town when I was 14 years old, and had never seen a computer before. It was my first time seeing one and I was so fascinated and amazed at the magic behind its genius. Since that day, I developed a lot of interest in learning how computers work and I wanted to become a computer wizard. I managed to save little cash on the side and enrolled in weekend lessons (on Saturdays) while in high school. Since I was a day scholar, our school didn't have computer lessons. By the time I finished high school, I was into most of the computer applications. The passion in me didn't fade away. After high-school graduation, I joined campus. I went to college and did a Diploma in Computer Engineering. I found a job as a social worker at a street-children rehabilitation center. After two years, I managed to save some cash and established my IT business, going into partnership with a friend.
Thank you, lenders, for putting your trust in me. Am so grateful for the second loan and am happy now to apply for a third loan. It has been such a great opportunity to meet my lenders online and chat with you. I've been so privileged to meet my clients' needs, offering professional photography services that were in constant demand in my cyber-café business. My business is still located in Eldoret Town Center, along Oloo Street, Nandi Arcade Building, First Floor, Room No. 44.
The nature of my business is Information Technology (cyber-café). I offer various IT-solution services, ranging from computer repair, software installation, virus cleaning, data recovery, website development, graphic design, systems hosting & installation on servers, cyber-café and Internet-supply services. There is high demand for professional IT work, which is sought by the corporate sector, by individuals, and by students. With the new reforms in Kenyan government services, most citizens resort to cyber-cafés to get the government services. We stand out as the best IT solutions business, as we offer affordable cost and outstanding services. With the growth in technology, we always offer the latest services the clients need, not to become irrelevant in the dynamic IT field. My business has grown so much! The revenue earned monthly is about $1000, profit of about $700, and expenses of about $300. I am now planning to start offering Internet connectivity to offices within the Nandi Arcade Building where my cyber-café is located. Many offices have been asking to get Internet connection from my cyber-café.
will use the $ 300 to purchase 10 internet switch gadgets @$30,internet Router Gadget $85,wireless Wifi Booster Gadget $99.
This venture will increase my income revenue of $200 in profits every month.it will also be a great boost to the entire offices within the business as the will spend little time in walking into cybercafe ,but does online activities within their offices.
