About Me
I am Sidi Katana. I am a dressmaker who does her business in a Kaloleni Kilifi county. I am married with 3 children - one grown up who runs a small business in another town. The other two are still in school and one is an aspiring statistician and the one dreams of being a doctor.
My Business
My business entails buying fabric, cutting and stitching them into beautiful dresses for ladies and children. I normally get a pool of clients from friends, family members and referrals.
Project Proposal
We are now approaching the festive season. My community makes merry during such periods and we have an unwritten rule that every woman and children must have clothes as part of this jamboree.
I therefore need to position myself to cash in on this oppornity. I need to buy fabric that I will use to make these clothes hence I need support to complement what I had saved. I will add what I wll get here to my savings and buy more fabric which will definately be in high demand once the season kicks in.
