About Me

Tell your story in at least 300 characters
I was born 48 years back. My father did not fancy education. I was thus educated by my mother up to university. I did a lot of manual labor to raise college fees and upkeep.
I have always wanted to be independent. I thus started thinking of starting a small school. My people value education a lot. My daughter wants to become an engineer and I keep encouraging her a lot.
I enjoy watching movies. I can sit a whole day patiently watching a story unfold.

My Business

Describe your business or income source in at least 300 characters
Currently I provide accommodation. I give rooms and get some rent. Houses are in demand as people who come to work in the town I live need accommodation and a place to stay. It was easy to run as it does not involve me a lot. I intend to convert the rooms into a school once I raise the funds. Currently the costs are minimum apart from expansion. The tenants pau rent which is my revenue. I save and expand. I pay fees for children and meet my other life demands.

Loan Proposal

Hi. I have been constructing a house like I had said earlier. The project will cost Kshs 5 million once complete. I have had a lot of challenges with water. I wish to buy a 3,500 litre water tank for storage. This will ensure that construction does not stop when there is no water. I have already connected water from the Murang'a water company that supplies water twice a week. I need some facility to store the water until the next supply. The tank will cost approximately kshs 25,000. The pipes and taps pus labor and transport are likely to conume the other 10,000 shillings.

Good afternoon. With the funds I will buy one metal door and two windows. This will cost kshs 20000. I will then buy cement and hire labour to fix the items. On completion I will start earning rent at kshs 5000 per month. Thank you for the funds.

Hi. With the last loan funds I purchased a 23litre tank to collect water for project work. The tank though without accessories has been very helpful in storing water from the company that supplies water and the tenants and myself can not complain much. This has increased tenant confidence and thus non has left or threatened to leave my premises. In fact I have a number asking for vacancy.

Hi. I realised that some small investment I did has started to pay a little and thus I can afford an extra 500 a week. I also wish to get another loan to move quickly to my dream.
    Thanks.

Hi. Dear lenders. With the amount I got, I realised that the tank was not the best priority. At least not the size I was going to buy. I need at least 10000 litre. So I bought some sand and some cement. The sand is 10000, Cement is 7000. The balance I plan to pay labor to plaster a room or two. There is no immediate impact as this is a long term project but my family is very happy for very soon they will live on a bigger house and we shall rent the one we live in.
Currently it is raining in this country. My work of curing the slab has been made easy.
    Thanks again.

Good afternoon good people. I am very delighted this afternoon that you have raised finds to loan me.
I plan to buy a 3,500 litre tank to collect rain water this rainy season to use when rains are not falling. This will help as I will not have to buy water which is expensive.
Once again thanks and may the Lord bless you.
