About Me
Esnart Sakala is my name. I originate from Eastern Province of Zambia which is the village and home town of my parents. I was born in Choma town in Mapanza district in the out skirt of Choma. I went to Macha Girls Secondary School and finished my form 5 and obtained excellent results of which I was selected to go to University of Zambia in the school of business and I graduated with a bachelor's degree of Business Administration. Currently am working with Zambia Revenue Authority {ZRA}. Am looking forward to upgrade for masters degree for higher paying job in future. Am a business lady, have always had the passion for business since I was secondary school and this inspiration came from parents. Being entrepreneur I have learnt that I need to have a lot of funding in the business to grow and develop. Am hard working individual and ready to adapt to new things as am a faster learner. My vision is to rise higher and higher in my life and set up a company and employ as many people in our community as possible.
My Business
Am involved in farming business, with farming business I grow a variety of vegetables which is highly on demand for the local people in our community and I sale them very fast at a profit. These vegetables are rape, okra, tomatoes, cabbages, green pepper, onions, sweet potatoes, cucumbers and carrots. Mainly these crops gives me a lot money. At the moment am lacking gardening tools and other farming equipment's. I need the garden tools because I want more necessary bed of vegetable this because I supply a lot more vegetables besides that I need to start planting maize crop both none drought and drought resistant so that whether there rains or no rains am able to grow the maize crop. I choose farming because it is a great source of income at the moment Zambia and food security. Agriculture business is one of the top most business that you can make more money and live a comfortable life. Hence am asking for financial support to acquire gardening tools to grow a variety and more crops. This is to supply more vegetables in supermarkets and to the marketeer in market places due to high demand. I will be grateful to receive support from well wishers and make my business grow today.
Project Proposal
Am applying for this funds to drill the borewell at the farming site and the gardening tools to be helping me in cultivating the land. For 2023 to 2024, rain has been a great challenge hence most crop dried up due inadequate rain. Hence the borewell will benefit me a lot by providing adequate water to the crops and as for the gardening tools, will benefit me by cultivating the land by creating more necessary beds for vegetable crops as demand in increasing from my customers whom I supply these vegetables. Currently my turn over profits is at ZMW 20,000 and once I drill a borewell, I will increase the production of vegetables to meet the demand from the customers
