About Me

Iam Carolyne Wanjiru Wakahiu. Was born and brought up in a family of five girls back in 1984 and Iam the first born of John Wakahiu and Teresia Nduta.
Being the first born, my mum used to assign me duties to attend the family business when they are away and this help me alot to learn at atender age on how to attend the business and also develop intrest in the business world and therefore as I grow up I only knew that there is no way one can earn a living without venturing into business and when i finished my O-level education and decided to join the college, i wanted to do a course of my dream that would enable me turn my dreams to reality. I therefore joined Vera college and pursued diploma course in Hair dressing and Beauty therapy.
I finished my college course six years back and opened my salon business. Cooperate world is so enjoyable because when you work hard you will realize your efforts rewarded as opposed to employment where an empoyee survives at the mercy of an employer and also it enables you to know how to manage the little resources you have to expand on your business. Lastly Iam a married woman and I am blessed with two children. First born is in class 3 and last born is in class one. i usually work hard because i want to see them get best education and succeed in life. I am a honest woman who is dedicated to her work and promise not to disappoint my lenders so that they help me grow my business to higher heights. thanks and may the lord bless you .

My Business

I started my business with a small income of twenty thousands from savings that I made from doing freelance work of plaiting hairs in homes and institutions. My first customers used to come to my tiny house of two rooms. I would blow dry and plait their hairs. As the number of my clients increased from seven to twenty. I saw it wise to move out from my house and open a small shop in the local centre. At first it was challenging i.e paying electricity bills and rent and also the license but with time i got used to the bills and saw it as part of the business and today what i make, I can balance well on meeting the bills and remain with enough for the upkeep of my family.
I make kshs. 4000 per week from selling cosmetics and offering salon services. If zidisha lends me I promise to pay in good time and make good reputation with my lenders so that they can help me grow my business to higher level

Loan Proposal

I would first thank zidisha lenders for giving me this opportunity to apply for the second loan. For the few lenders who contributed towards my first loan, God bless you abundantly!!!.

l am applying for the second loan to buy drier machine and add stock to my beauty shop. This month of December salons in the country are usually busy and when I get loan in good time, I will be in good business.

The drier machine usually goes for kshs. 12000 and the remaining amount I will buy additional stock of shampoo kshs 4000, lotions 2000 and the remaining amount brainds.

I trust you will fund my loan within a short time.

thanks in advance
