My name is Anthony Kibue.I live in the suburbs of Nairobi at a place called Dagoretti on a small farm.I practice mixed farming, but mostly I grow kales, spinach and sweet peper which have already market around here.
my main business is selling eggs.I get eggs from large scale farmers who sell at whole sale prices and then add my markup to make a profit.I also sell eggs laid by indigenous chicken which I rear.On my little farm I have a seedlings nursery where I propagate various types of plants eg vegetable seedlings, tree and flower seedlings which have a good market during the rainy season. To do this on abig scale, I'll need to dig a well/borehole so that I have water through out the year. This will in turn help me plant more vegetables and even fruits which I can sell online
I will buy chicken feed supplements for my brood.
At present most chicken feeds are not made up to standard as they lack important ingredients necessary for optimum growth of chicken.
If I feed my chicken with good feed they will lay eggs consistently and therefore I get more eggs to sell.
The supplements I hope to buy are: sunflower @$0.7/kg(5kg)cotton seed cake@$0.7/kg(5kg) and omena a tiny kind of fish @$1/kg(3kg)
I look forward to getting a favourable reply to help me grow to the next level.
Thank you.
