I grew up in Nairobi, raised by a single parent struggling but did my education up to college. My mother is my hero she did it all by herself two sons and a daughter. Anyhow I managed to do a driving course and got a driver's license in the year 2000 and by 2006 despite other challenges for being a driver for different organizations and companies like nestle foods, Safaricom and also working in a garage at the industrial area sharpened me with skills and driving experience I required to be able to qualify for PSV license. therefore I joined taxi business until Uber came in as a taxi hailing online application which has enabled me to become a partner with a small spare parts shop that I would like to expand with more stocks because the garage is available and the mechanics but sometimes I lack some spare. If I can get a 100k loan would make it work.
As an Uber partner and A spare parts dealer with Air compressor and repair I Have been selling new tyres to my customers for a while now and i have been running out of stock. Now that i have managed to replace at least 15 NEW tyres for taxis and personal vehicles. I would like to bring Enough stock for cars and motorcycles so that they i never run out of stock and boost my income. it will be a success to bring New tyres for i recently posted how i will be making an extra income for replacing new tyres for my clients after i do assessment instead of repairing a puncture i can also advice my customers when to not take chances on the road by having their tyres replaced because of skidding while the tires are worn out. l have also found a wholesaler who has been supplying to me for 2,200ksh each (170 70R14). I buy different sizes of cause the moving stock and they have been supplying to my shop for free(No transport fee). For example i will be buying each tyre for normal saloon (Taxi) as a retailer i will sell each at 3,500-4,000kshs. Will be making 1,300-1,700Kshs profit from each tyre. For 1 car 2pcsx1300 =2,600Kshs. That is good business. Looking forward to my next loan so that i can bring in enough stock at my Auto spares Shop.
Tyre repairs and mostly I will be targeting Motorbike (Boda Boda). They are plenty and they are always looking for someone to fix their punctures, especially where they can have access to air for their tyres.
Small vehicles will be another advantage for 30-40 psi.
If by end of day I can manage to repair as many as 50 punctures for Kes 100-200, also depending on the type of repair, which by end of day on average I will have Kes 2000-3000 daily, less punctures and glue (material), and since it will be a petrol engine rather than electrical one, Kes 1500 profit per day on an average day.
