MY STORY
My name is Gyan Juliet and a twenty - six year old graduate of the Nsaawkaw State Senior High School. I completed senior High School in 2012 but has not been able to further my education due to financial constraints. I am the ninth form a family of 12 excluding my parents. due to the large family size and also because my parents only engage in subsistence farming, continuing my education has really been a problem. to cater for myself, I engaged in the retail business selling anything that i could lay my hands on from a little capital an uncle helped me raise and so for the past one year i have been selling to keep myself busy and also try to save to further myself through school. it is my dream to become a teacher in future. I sell second hand clothes, rubber buckets and bowls, blankets and many more. i carry rhese products on my head and move from house to house, suburb to suburb and sometimes to other communities especially on thier market days. it is my intention to acquire a shop where i could keep these products and have a stable location where i could be easily located. run aa smalll provsisoion shop i n my vicinity which I am seeking to expand into mini supermarket. i am a very optimistic person , affable and easy to be around with and these qualities have endeared me to many people. I am very entrepreneurial minded and I make the most out of every opportunity that present itself and as such this next step of of acquiring a shop is a great step for me.
ABOUT MY BUSINESS
I am in the retailing of plastic wares shares as rubber buckets, bowls, plates, etc. i also trade in second hand products especially clothes. i do not have a fixed location point of sale as it is expensive to acquire a shop these days so i hawk around my vicinity and other neighbouring vicinities, suburbs and communities where many people visit during thier market days. demand for plastic products is very high and as such on a day where the market is ful to capacity, i am able to make much profits. something i believe i could make more i had a shop to sell these products. due to financial difficulties arising from the inability to raise loans for expansion, i am not also able to but these goods in large quantities.
despite these challenges, i have however resolved to make the best out of every situation and so i do my best to create a good rapport between myself and my customers. the good customer care that I exhibit at all times has a also been a major factor in the kind and number of customers that i command in my neighborhood . Also the very affordable prices of most of my commodities has also really helped me in enjoying such amount of goodwill.
I would be glad to get this loan to be able to expand and grow my business. I promise to execute and respect the rules and regulation of this noble institution.
Thank you.
MY LOAN PROPOSAL
My retailing products has affordable prices and coupled with my good customer care system in place that ensures that customers will always go and come back. This has necessitated that I expand and also bring in more products and commodities to cater for the very many increasing customers.
I have been struggling to get loan to push this business up for about a year now and this loan if granted will be godsend to help me achieve this. Since I have been doing this for the past one year, I have gained much experience to realize when to expand or bring in what commodity and this is one of those times where I think that a loan from Zidisha will help increase my profits through expansion.
I have been able to raise to save a little, but now what is left with I s just a bit which will be well covered by this loan. Kindly consider lending me this loan as it will go a long way into helping me achieve my lifelong dream. Am grateful to be part of this organization and I promise to abide by all the rules and regulations.
Thank you.
