About Me

I am the first born in my family.
I am a married man with two children.
I am from the vulnerable family where my father and mother did not go to school neither they didn't have enough land to do farming to support my studies.
I have been doing causal and volunteer work for the last ten years.
I do capacity building to woman in the community who do table banking(A concept where women meet once every month do saving and then use the savings to loan some of the members at lower interest rates)
I have assisted many women group to grow their saving as little as from 200dollars to the highest group which has now 20000dollars .
I am the programming officer and loans officer at the same time.
I visit all the groups once a month to advice and ensure that those who borrowed have returned the money to the table.
Being a member of one group i took a loan and started mixed farming and grocery
since i got the success stories from the women i am assisting how great they have made in their lives just from dong farming and business.
They have managed to take their children to good schools to get the best education to their children something i also want to give to my beloved children and to give my family the best i can.
I currently do mixed farming in a leased plot next to my home due to conditions that favor farming that's good rainfall through t the year.
In the farm i do vegetable farming and fruit farming.
Apart from the farm i operate a grocery .
Sometime my children who are two wants to be lawyers when they grow up.
Volunteer work has been the best thing in my life.Getting success stories from the groups i work with make me happy and great

My Business

My business involves operating a Grocery and mixed farming.
I grow a variety of crops which sell very fast in the county.
The crops include kale's,tomatoes, cabbage and onions.
Besides vegetable farming i have layers which lay eggs.
The farm is much established and i have built the reputation in the community for my healthy and fresh produce from the farm.
Customers come from far places to buy fruits and vegetables from my farm at an affordable price and for those who do not make to the farm get the fresh and healthy produce at my grocery.
The cost for this are medium the reason why i have seen the importance to get your loan is to boast me.
Cost normally are:
Cost for Leasing plot.
Costs for seedlings.
Costs for paying casual labors.
Costs for pesticides.
Costs for transportation of crops from the farm to the town and to my Grocery.
In a week do make good profits from the farm and grocery.
The first loan has done wonders to my life and family.
First it enabled me to expand the farm, repay loan,It enabled me complete my accounting class and It supported me to start a Grocery which enabled me to complete accounting class ,support my family .
Also the profits from the first loan enable me to increase the saving in a merry go round which enables women to borrow to start livelihood business to support themselves and their family.
Also the profits enabled my capacity building work to be easier as it catered for my transport costs.
The profits also helped me to build my first house where i stay with my family.
Thanks to all who contributed to my first loan.God bless you .
