About Me

I am a kenyan aged 32 years. I am the fourth child in a family of twelve children .i attended primary school in Molo, kuresoi Disctrict in Riftvalley province. we relocated from Kuresoi in the eve of 1995 post election violence to Nakuru. after completing my primary schooling, i joined a private secondary school in Nakuru where i scored a (C)grade in 2004. by the time i completed secondary school, my parents were facing financial difficulties as a result of drought that lasted for two years between 2003-2004 and therefore they could not afford to book me into a college.after realizing that things were no longer good at home, i decided to search for employment in town(nairobi) and by luck i got one (shamba boy). after four years of work and with little i had saved, i decided to join college(zetech college in 2007) where i did an I.C.T course.

In 2011 , i was employed by a certain secondary school in my village as an ICT teacher. i worked there for three years but my contract was terminated in mid 2014 after the government posted an ICT teacher in the school.in 2015, i opted to use the little cash i had struggled to save to start a min cyber and until now am holding to it.

about culture, most of people here in the village are reformist, they don't hold on to past believes and cultures,,,,,, they most believe that life have changed and they must conform to modern world. agriculture is their main economic venture but other business are thriving. most of people here are Christians and a few Muslims.

i have two kids, a girl and a boy. a boy is six years and is my first born and would like to be an engineer in life. that course naturally depict itself by kind of stuffs he engage in while free,,,,he like to assemble a wired-kind of a "vehicle" . a girl is by far a typical teacher. she likes to engage into a lengthy discussion,,,she never tires until light is put off.

during free time, i like reading novels and the bible.

thanks.

My Business

I own three computers. The main one is connected with a printer that help me type and print documents for my clients. The other two computers are for customers who may want to do their own stuffs e.g typing and accessing internet.

Beyond, I assist the locals who want to renew Driving License, register KRA PIN,loan application for university and college students, print photos and passports .I also have computer lessons for anybody who want to study office packages. these services are much useful to my customers because i have reduced travel cost to town.

I invested ksh.70,000 to start my business and it generate a minimum of ksh. 500 per day. it has assisted me pay school fees for my kids, and feed my family. i usually divide the little cash i get in the ration of 3:2 (responsibilities: business) and this has help me sustain my business for the last two years. in two years, i was also able to buy a plot and i am in preparation to built a house.

Loan Proposal

i will use the loan to purchase a wireless modem to connect my computers so that my customers can browse efficiently instead of using a fixed modem.
